vocational scholarship application
The Wole Ogunyemi Foundation vocational scholarship program aims to support artisans, traders, and skill-based workers to enroll for and/or complete a technical or vocational education program in Nigeria. Selected awardees receive a sessional prize of between N75,000 and N100,000 to cover the cost of training in areas like carpentry, bricklaying, hairdressing, plumbing, automobile mechanic, fashion design, electronics repair, photography etc.
The scholarship is awarded to applicants who are currently enrolled for or wish to enrol for a vocational training program.
To be considered for this scholarship, candidates must submit a duly completed application form and a signed letter of recommendation. (Download reference form)
To be considered for the 2026/2027 academic session, please submit your application and all supporting documents on or before 31 July 2026.
All applications are reviewed by the scholarship panel, supporting documents are verified, and shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview before a final selection is made.
