The Wole Ogunyemi Foundation secondary school scholarship program aims to support economically disadvantaged students in Nigerian secondary schools. Selected awardees receive a sessional prize of N30,000 (junior secondary school) or N50,000 (senior secondary school) to cover a range of educational expenses including tuition and fees, books and supplies, and transportation.

ELIGIBILITY

The scholarship is awarded to applicants with genuine financial need who meet the requirements listed below:

 

  • Currently enrolled in a government-accredited secondary school
  • Demonstrate a record of academic excellence
  • Not a beneficiary of any other scholarship or study grant

To be considered for this scholarship, candidates must submit a duly completed application form and provide the following supporting documents for verification purposes:

 

DEADLINE

To be considered for the 2023/2024 academic session, please submit your application and all supporting documents on or before 31 June 2023.

SELECTION PROCESS

All applications are reviewed by the scholarship panel, supporting documents are verified, and shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview before a final selection is made.
