Grants

The foundation awards grants to schools (primary and secondary), vocational education institutions, and registered non-profit organizations who share our vision of expanding access to education for underserved communities and students from low-income households.

One-time grants of between N100,000 to N1 million are awarded to schools and organizations through a thorough evaluation of applications and recommendations. We also approach schools and organizations directly based on verifiable information on a need that meets our grants criteria. We also provide, based on evaluation, one-time or recurrent grants to deserving allied institutions in the educational intervention space.

In awarding grants, we focus on the impact of the proposed initiative or project on target communities, households, and students. Applications may be submitted by any member of the public on behalf of a school or an organization, but a duly recognized representative of such entity will be requested to certify all information provided before such a grant is approved.

All grant applications are manually reviewed and processed for accuracy, and supporting documents are verified with relevant agencies before decisions are made. To apply for or recommend a school or organization for the 2023 window:
